Tips for select the right shower head

From permanent headers with permanent spray from smooth handheld units, the shower head is wide open to choose, but what's right for you, your bathroom and your budget?

Who’s It For?
When choosing a shower head, remember that a good tip will be used most of it. This may be the simplest unit for your kids or guests if you want luxurious shower heads with multiple settings for your main bathroom.

Choose From Different Spray Patterns

When selecting a spray pattern, direction, range and water volume used per minute, all may vary depending on the unit. For example, a strong condensed spray is good for cleaning long hair or heavy duty. In addition to normal full-body shower spray, other options include combination jets, rain-like drops, or both.

Save Water and Money

When trying to save water, you do not need luxury and pressure. All shower heads contain a water efficiency label and Standard (WELS) rating. This scale is from 0 to 6 - higher rating, more water-efficient shower head. This means that the shower head uses less water, which will save you money. For example, a standard shower head is used up to 25 liters per minute, while a WELS three star rated shower uses little as seven liters per minute. All shower heads available at Bunnings are rated at least WELS 3 stars.

Wall-Mounted Units

These come in many styles from simple design to more powerful, stainless steel and brass made heavy models. Choose a shower head which has different settings - thus you can benefit from setting up a fog, massage and quality from the single.

Handheld Shower Heads
Removable from its mount, a handheld shower head can be a great choice if you want a little more control or need more flexibility in the shower. They are ideal for washing anyone, including kids, pets or limited mobility. A good idea is to select a knitting unit which includes wall-mounting clips, which allows you to use it as a more traditional wall-mounted unit.

Rain Shower Heads
If you like the effects of rainfall during the shower at daytime, then rain shower heads have water flow from the traditional spray system. Overheads have been replaced instead of wall, they can be mounted from a pendant rail to the slides or flush ceiling.

Aerating Shower Heads
Some shower heads are capable of air, which means they mix more air with water. This shower head creates less water pressure sensation, although this uses less water than conventional things.
